Tile & flooring waste factors
Order extra material for cuts, breakage and future repairs. Typical waste factors are about 10–15% for tile (higher for diagonal or patterned layouts) and 7–12% for flooring — labeled planning bands. Apply them in the tile and flooring calculators.
